The Passion of Jesus according to Joseph the Patriarch
March 11 @ 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm
FreeThe early Lutherans were fond of reading the passion of Jesus right alongside the account of Joseph the patriarch so that they “may view the old Passion as though it were painted with new colors” (Wilhelm Bidembach, 1538–72).
Come hear some of the fascinating ways the Joseph narrative adds rich color to the death and resurrection of Christ with Dr. Brian German, Chairman of the Theology Department and Director of the Concordia Bible Institute at Concordia University, on March 11 and 18 from 6:30 to 8pm in the Friends of Concordia Room (northwest corner of the Fieldhouse).
No need to register in advance.
