Please stop the sound effects. They are not helpful. I’m a new listener and think the content here is excellent but the effects are distracting from that. I just found this podcast after hearing Pr. German on Issues etc. I think the effects cheapen the content. The message is not helped by clownish sound effects. You are doing excellent work and I have already listened to many earlier posts and think you’re much better without the cheesey effects.
Hello Scott, thank you for the feedback. The sound effects were added for the sake of the video version of the podcast, in which case they make more sense when there is a visual that goes with the sound effect. In any case, we have received feedback and understand that the sound effects do not enhance (and may detract from) the message, so they have been scaled back significantly starting again with Episode 550.
